Review by hotel critic
From the moment we arrived at Caloosa Cove Resort, we knew we were in for a special treat. the Florida Keys-inspired souvenirs at Rain Barrel Village were a delightful find, perfect for bringing a piece of the Keys home. the spacious pool deck offered stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, providing a tranquil escape for our family. We opted for the den suite, which boasted not only a cozy queen bed but also two convertible sofas, perfect for lounging after a day of exploring Islamorada's marine life. the convenience store onsite was a lifesaver, offering everything from snacks to sunscreen for our beach adventures. Despite being avid scuba divers, we couldn't resist the allure of the theater of the Sea located just a short distance away. the vibrant marine life on display was a testament to the area's commitment to conservation—a value close to my heart. As a scuba diver, the proximity to world-class snorkeling spots such as the skeleton lighthouse was a dream come true. We savored every moment spent underwater, surrounded by the colorful species that call these waters home. Caloosa Cove's commitment to marine conservation and sustainable practices truly resonated with me, making our stay not just enjoyable but also meaningful. I can't wait to return and continue exploring the wonders of the Florida Keys with loved ones by my side.
